Anyone can put "5-star agent" in their bio. Earning it, over and over, from real clients who just went through one of the biggest transactions of their lives? That's a different thing entirely.
I don't take my reviews for granted — every single one represents a family, a first-time buyer, or a seller who trusted me with something huge, and walked away happy enough to say so publicly. Here's what I believe actually earns that kind of trust.
The single biggest complaint in bad agent reviews everywhere? Silence. Missed calls, slow responses, clients left wondering what's happening with their own transaction. A 5-star experience starts with something simple: you always know where things stand, because I tell you — even when the update isn't exciting, and even when it's not what you were hoping to hear.
Any agent can look great during a smooth deal. The moments that actually earn a great review are the messy ones — a low appraisal, an inspection surprise, a financing delay. What matters is staying calm, having a plan, and fighting for my clients' best interest when it actually counts.
Berea, Richmond, and Madison County aren't generic markets — they're neighborhoods I know, streets I've driven, schools and areas clients ask about constantly. Pricing a home right, or knowing what a buyer is really getting for their money, comes from actually knowing this area inside and out.
Whether it's a first-time buyer with a hundred questions or a seller who's done this before and just wants it handled — everyone gets the same level of attention and effort. That consistency is exactly what shows up in reviews.
A great agent-client relationship shouldn't end at closing. Checking in after the move, being a resource down the road, actually caring how things turn out — that's the difference between a client who forgets your name in a year and one who refers you to everyone they know.
If you're choosing an agent to buy or sell your home, this is exactly what you should be looking for — not just a star rating, but the reasons behind it. Read the reviews. Look for the patterns. And when you're ready, I'd love the chance to earn yours too.
